"Leaving my dogs at a boarder during vacation is new for me. The staff here were so kind and patient with me calling to check in on them everyday. They would even go back to check on them that minute and let me know what they were doing. They sent me pictures everyday, gave them their medication nightly, and kept me posted on how much they were/were not eating daily. I would recommend this pet resort to anyone staying in Branson area!"

John Kirton, UT

"This location was a godsend to us when we came to vacation in Branson. We thought to only have our dog there for a few days, but it ended up being our entire trip she was there. Her care was excellent, and she seemed very happy."

Jacob McDonald, MO

"I cannot overstate how great this place is. I LOVE when people do things right and this place is absolutely on point. They took amazing care of my dog Ella with special needs. They went the extra mile and communicated with me all week. Ella had such a great time, great prices and amazing experiences. I am blown away. I might actually have to use them even when I’m not traveling just to give my dog a good time!!"

  • What time can I drop off/ pick up my dog?
We open our lobby for drop offs and pick ups any time between 8:00AM - 12:00PM and 2:00PM - 5:00PM Monday - Thursday. Friday-Sunday hours are 9:00AM - 10:00AM and 4:00PM - 5:00PM. Earlier drop offs are encouraged so that your pets have more time to get comfortable and play before the end of the day.
  • What vaccines does my pet need?
For dogs, we require three vaccines: Rabies, Distemper /Parvo (DHPP) which is a 5-way vaccine that is given every 1 year or 3 years, and Bordetella (also known as kennel cough or canine cough). This vaccine is done every 6 months or 1 year. For cats, we require two vaccines: Rabies, and Feline Distemper (FVRCP), also given every 1 year or 3 years.
  • Do I need to make a reservation?
While we do not require reservations, booking ahead of time can help us prepare to best care for your pet! It is important to note that we do typically fill up early for weekends during the summer months, and holidays, such as Christmas and Thanksgiving, book several weeks/months in advance.
  • How do I make a reservation?
You can request a reservation online by hitting the Book Now button, or if you have the PawPartner app downloaded you can make a reservation through there. You can also call us during our normal operating hours and we would be happy to help you!
  • Do you have any breed restrictions?
No, all are welcome at Branson Pet Resort!
  • Should I bring my pet's food if he is boarding?
Please do! It is important that our guests are as comfortable as possible during their stay. Abruptly changing your pet’s diet can cause diarrhea/tummy aches or additional GI issues, which in turn create additional stresses for your pet. If you bring your own food, we ask that you bring it in a resealable container (ex. ziploc bag, tupperware, etc). If you choose not to bring your own food, not a problem, we are happy to feed Iams Small Chunks for dogs and Meow Mix for cats at no additional cost.
  • Can I bring my pet’s personal items?
Yes, we encourage you to bring any treats, toys, and bedding from home that will make your pet more comfortable during their stay. If you'd prefer not to, however, we are happy to supply bedding and treats!
  • My dog is an escape artist, and is always getting away, how can you keep from losing my dog?
First, it is very important to tell us about your dog’s tendencies to jump or climb. All of our runs are fully covered and while our play yard is double-fenced, knowing your pet's tendencies will help us ensure they have a safe stay!
  • Can you groom my dog while boarding?
Yes, however appointment slots are limited and subject to the groomer's availability. Many of our guests make reservations for baths or grooming while they are here for daycare or boarding. If you know you would like your pet groomed during their stay, it's a good idea to let us know in advance so we can make sure they get on the schedule!
  • Who is there after hours or on holidays or weekends?
Our posted business hours are only for the office (handling calls, check-in and check-out). Our managers live on the property and tend to our guests 7 days a week 24/7 365 days a year. If we have a major storm or other emergency after hours, the managers are there to ensure everyone is fine.
  • Will my dog or cat ever be mixed with other dogs or cats?
No- there are many facilities that promote group playtimes and frequently blend many dogs together in a communal play area. We feel that there are many dogs who don't thrive in such a setting. We prefer to provide all of our guests with as much human contact as possible.
  • What if there is an emergency medical problem?
We have several great veterinarians in close proximity to our facility, along with an emergency vet located in Springfield (approximately 50 mins away). We treat every guest as we would our own children and will assure them the best attention available.
  • I am really nervous- my pet has never boarded before/has anxiety!
Taking a tour is the first step in easing your concerns about leaving your pet. We pride ourselves on the quality and cleanliness of our facility, the special hands on care, comfortable accommodations and personalized activities that we offer. Often we have seen that pets tend to sense our energy- so the more nervous you are, the more nervous they are! Many anxious boarders have come through our doors and done fantastic once they settle in and learn our routines. You are also welcome to call or message us to check up on your pet during their stay as many times as you need!
